They stay close to you.

This shows that your dog has specifically chosen to be where you are near as a sign that they are comfortable being around you. They feel that they can trust you enough that they can put their defences down when they are with you.

So the next time that your dog lays next to you on the couch or sits in your room when you are there, then take it as a good sign that your dog loves you.

They cuddle with you.

This one is pretty obvious. If your dog likes giving you hugs and cuddles even if they are not hungry yet, then you can take this as one of the signs that your dog loves you. This is the simplest form of affection that means to say that they enjoy your company. No matter how many dog obedience training session your dog attends, they would not cuddle with anyone else comfortably the way they cuddle with you.

They try and get your attention for playtime.

Most dogs are territorial, they do not like it when other people touch their things. This means that if your dog brings their toys to you and is encouraging you to play with them, then you are a special exception to their no-touching rule.

They greet you at the door.

You are probably already familiar with this sign since it is the most commonly displayed one. Time passes differently for dogs, one day can feel like a month to them when you are not around. Whenever you return home and you see them waiting at the door and wagging their tails like crazy. Then you can bet your bottom that your dog loves you.
