Course Content
We start by helping you and your dog connect, then run a quick level check so training suits your mate. Learn how dogs think and why our positive reinforcement approach builds trust. We decode body language, outline proven methods for Aussie homes, and show you how to hold your dog’s attention in real situations.
With the basics sorted, we teach solid sit and drop cues, introduce loose lead walking for stress free strolls, and add a few fun tricks. Each session is brief, practical, and easy to slot into a busy calendar while strengthening skills and communication for both of you.
We open with a brief review of last week to lock in progress, then move on to calm, confident handling. You will also practise good manners at the coffee shop, coaching your dog to relax amid chatter and clanging cups.
Next we refine loose lead walking, boost recall so your dog returns promptly every time, and build dependable stay and leave it cues for everyday safety. Each exercise is short, practical, and easy to weave into your routine, strengthening teamwork on every outing.
We start with a quick recap of last week, then reinforce leave it by working with a favourite toy. Your dog will also hold a steady stay during a photo shoot, building patience and focus.
In the park we practise polite meet and greets with other dogs, sharpen recall so your mate comes as soon as called, and finish with playful tricks that keep training short, rewarding and easy to fit into any day.
We start with a fast recap of every class, refining the tricks your dog already knows. We also drill stopping at each door, safe intersection crossings, and proper car etiquette for calm, secure travel.
After locking in these habits, you receive a course certificate plus clear next steps for future training. A simple plan of daily drills and support options keeps your dog’s skills sharp and progress steady.
